EFFECTIVE 8/1/2026 – Any item requiring payment for disposal at the Transfer Station must be paid for at the Town Office prior to it being brought to the station OR it may be paid for (exact change or check only) with the attendant on duty at time of drop off. There will no longer be an option to charge and pay later at the Town Office.
A reminder to all that Transfer Station attendants are their to verbally assist you with where your garbage is to be put, not to unload your garbage. Attendant’s word is final. Miss-use and/or harassment of attendants will be cause for loss of use of the Transfer Station and legal action.
Andover Transfer Station access stickers allow users to bring refuge/materials that was generated within town limits. Disposing of certain materials is expensive and should not be placed on the shoulders of our citizens if it is generated outside Town limits. Thank you for understanding and respecting those who are working at the station. They do no like having to turn folks away, but will if they are presented with a situation that warrants them to.
